KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 5 — The number of flood victims in Selangor, Kedah and Perak recorded a slight increase this morning compared to last night, as several new relief centres (PPS) opened in the three states.

KUALA LUMPUR, Dec 27 — Johor and Sabah have become the latest states to be hit by floods, taking the total to six states, with the number of evacuees as of 6 am today rising to 28,310 people compared to 25,938 yesterday evening.

KUALA LUMPUR, March 11 — The number of evacuees in three states continued to drop as of 2pm this afternoon, while the flood situation in Mersing, Johor, has fully recovered.

SEREMBAN, Oct 29 — A total of five families consisting of 15 individuals from Kampung Juntai, Simpang Pertang, Jelebu near here were evacuated to a temporary relief centre after their homes were flooded due to heavy rain that went on for over three hours since 4pm today.

SHAH ALAM, Dec 21 — A total of 203 temporary relief centres (PPS) have been opened in nine districts throughout the state to accommodate 30,632 flood victims, as of 8am today.

RAUB, Jan 7 — A senior citizen and her daughter had to cling to a mangosteen tree for more than 18 hours after the roof of their house near Sungai Kerak, Kuala Gali here, disappeared totally under floodwater.

KUALA LUMPUR, Nov 15 — The Women, Family and Community Development Ministry (KPWKM) will improve its data collection on flood victims throughout the country, so as to allow it to be used in finding solutions to flood problems in an area.

SHAH ALAM, Nov 6 — The flood situation in the state is improving when one temporary relief centre at Sekolah Rendah Agama (SRA) Dengkil, Sepang near here was closed last night.
